Some go for the cozy, ageless bar scene, others go for the casual family-friendly menu . . . its hopping bar leads to a roomy, darkly paneled dining area where a crowd digs into big bowls of super-traditional Buffalo wings…striking the right balance between vinegary tartness and red-chili heat.

Plan on a couple of beers and a few napkins when you dig into these wings. Monday night is wing night, come after 8:30 and if you are older than 21, you can get 10-cent wings, as long as you order a drink…and it can be soda. This old timer (19 years) has dark paneled booths and a long bar. It’s wing central…it’s also known for spicy ribs that fall off the bone.

I absolutely adore this bar/restaurant. I started frequenting the place for Monday wing night. I got to know everyone who worked there from management to bus boy.  Great group of people and you can't find better atmosphere anywhere in Larchmont ! Anytime I'm back in town Sherwood's is a definite stop on my list.  I've been going back for 19 years and I don't see it ever losing its charm for me!

Staple in my life…ribs are awesome, wings are too…but the French Dip is the best thing on the menu. The Toll House Cookie Pie is rockin’. Atmosphere is great, people are great…great place for hanging out and having a pint. It is like “cheers” to me . . . good times.

Sherwoods is a classic Larchmont pub/tavern. The food is above standard fair, and the place has managed to retain most of its classic personality, which distinguishes it. The staff are a-okay and the décor is cool.

I’ve been going to Sherwood’s for years. The food is consistently good- especially the ribs. The service is always very professional and friendly. The only downfall is its not big enough so you have to wait. But it’s well worth the wait.

Those ribs are my favorite. I’ve never been able to duplicate them at home (I’ve tried!) The burgers are great, too. I love that Sherwood’s is right in town. Nice atmosphere inside and out.
